Poverty: the state of being extremely poor.
pinch: فشار، سختی و درد

گوشزد: « her » به تهیدستی بازمی رسد. به دیگر سخن «تهیدستی» مانند زنی در نظر گرفته شده است که مرد توانگر درباره اش هیچ نمی داند.

lot: fate, destiny
gay: happy

cinch: Something that can be done easily.
